Yeah, I'd sooner have him do Hellboy 3 than PR2.

I mean, I really enjoyed Pacific Rim, but seeing as he's set it up with the first one, and he'll probably remain a strong creative presence, I'm fine with him handing it off to someone else and doing HB3 or any of the many films he keeps talking up but never gets off the ground.

In many interviews he did after Hellboy 2 was released, GDT said that he will only do Hellboy 3 if Ron Perlman wants to do a third Hellboy film.
