I always say things that come across as offensive and it seems no matter what I do I simply can't fit in or get along with the other members.

I don't want to leave, as this place is a great time killer.

So what should I do to stop upsetting people here?

Or you find a "time killer" (upsetting or not).
Or you choose something nice to do with your time.

Having posted this, i go back and play cello. (time is precious)

If what you say was said about you, would you feel offended? If so, then don't say it.

Other guidelines:
- Complaints against Alex, Cloudflare, the moderators, or the WrongPlanet website in general will be largely ignored.
- Complaints against other members may not be acted upon immediately - if at all.
- Discussions about members of the opposite sex, their anatomy, their behavior, and their alleged shortcomings will upset people.
- Discussions about terrorist activities and general violence will upset people.
- Discussions about the alleged inferiority of people due to their disability (or lack thereof), education, gender identity, nationality, politics, religion, sex, skin color, special interests, or wealth will upset people.
- Discussions about the alleged ease of dating for the opposite sex will upset people.
- Threats to stop posting will be met with a few encouraging posts from a very few people; but with a collective yawn from everybody else.

That should do for now.

What i like when i play cello, i may express myself freely.

No rules.

Having posted that, i'm turning back to my job search (it's more important than responding to aggressive posts)
