Can a new forum be made for family members/significant others?

I'm sure this has been asked about before but I was just wondering.

Not particularly. Though, if there's a reasonable
demand, a thread for it should see enough action
to either coast to the top, or deserve being stickied.

I can see the desire, no question, but there are a
lot of fora already, and it's difficult to see that this
is likely. At least without the patch which makes
hierarchical divisions possible.

Wouldn't Significant others go under the "Love and Dating" forum?

Or significant others can go in the married forum. Depending on where people are in their relationship. I don't make distinctions between legally married heterosexual couples and living together couples of any gender mix. It's more of a state of mind. And the law hasn't quite caught up with what people need and do these days.

There are a lot of people that want to be legally married and the law won't let them. We had the same-sex marriages here in San Francisco that were partially shown on the news. Because of our mayor, Gavin Newsom. It was a wonderful thing to see, because ALL the couples looked so HAPPY to be able to get married and to be accepted as a married couple by at least one political institution in City Hall.

I think those were all nullified, after our Governor had a fit.

Anyway, people that live together as a couple with no plans of terminating that coupleness, they all face a lot of the same things. Like people want their relationships to go smoothly. What to do after an argument? Who decides on what? Kids or no kids?

What about saving for retirement? Are both people going to work? Handling of finances. All that stuff affects couples. Of any age. Of any combination of factors.
