Who is going to be watching the new X-files tonight??? I'm soooo excited. Supposedly, many people think that Mulder might be Aspie.

I am. I'll be torrenting and watching it in the morning.

I binge-watched the first three seasons a month or two back, watching it again for the first time in over 20 years, accompanied by Kumail Nanijani's excellent podcast. Took a break from it for a bit.

I half wondered if Duchovney was Aspie - there was such flat affect from him. I think it was just that Anderson was the better actor from the off, with Duchovney taking time to up his game.

I just saw it, and so far, there is great continuity from the original series. I especially liked how they jumped in with two feet with the conspiracy theory that, rather than alien abductions, shadowy government elites had been manipulating Mulder and Sculley from the beginning, and had been ultimately responsible for "alien/human hybrids," which they then harvest for some yet unknowable reason. The fact that this was put into the forefront from the start tells me that there is something as of yet undiscovered. A bit perplexing is the final scene, with an appearance by the Cigarette Smoking Man - as I recall, he was incinerated at the very last episode of the old series. And being that he has a tracheotomy hole in his throat, due to nicotine induced cancer (the evil bastard still smokes out of it) there's little chance that he's a clone.

On April 12, 2016, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment announced officially that it will release on Blu-ray The X-Files: The Event Series [Season 10]. The release will be available for shipping on June 14 (Amazon.com is currently offering a pre-order price guarantee for the disk set which is currently at $29.99, but will probably be reduced to a lower price in the coming weeks).

And Chris can be happy, because even there they have 3 seasons 1, 2, 3 left and then I think it's one season 7 and one 9. Smaller places where I go (gotta know your dealers), they have close to zippa. No all-seasons sets anywhere. I could find a brand new season 2 in my prices - I'm doing all the seasons with new sets (to picture it, I had the very old dvds, my season one was 15 years old and worn out, and I pay attention).

It's crazy here. Like it was when it started. Proud to be in the first country with the biggest fan club then twice more than the US for 4 times less people.

How can you not say: I want to believe, then? I feel that deeply.

Currently watching Little green men. Aren't they stupid these guys at Mulder's appartment when Scully's there to "feed the fish". They have neither perception nor intuition.

Anyway,.when.I watched little green men, again, I thought about that who was a 12-year-old Mulder (the real boy looks older though), and on some plans, particularly two of them, he even looks like DD, how HE would have looked - eyes-looks-looking up. I read that boy was "around". How? It's amazing. I need to understand that. Similar soul more than looks. How can this happen?
