I would've supported this show, years ago. But being more mature now, I realize that this show is utter garbage. Who the h*** does this to kids? Why did you even have them, if you don't even want to raise them? This form of punishment is just plain overkill.
Not only are they sending them to an adult prison, they're televising it!
What sincerely f***ed up fantasies do these people have? While the prisoners and officers probably weren't allowed to do anything, the parents had essentially become as become as bad as the kids! People may shrug this off, but be forewarned: a butterfly that flaps its wings on side of the world can trigger a hurricane on the other. The kids have complete control over how much involvement their parents will have in their lives after childhood. Graduation? Not invited. Moving out? They'll do it themselves and probably not let you see where they'll live. Grandkids? Not allowed to see them. Birthdays for GKs? Lol! B***h, please! Their graduations? Nada. They can and sometimes will cut you out of their lives, completely. Deny it if you want, but they will remember that. Let that sink in...
