Does anyone ignore stickies out of habit?

Doesn't just apply to Wrong Planet but all forums but didn't know where else to post this.

When I see the "Latest post by" and I click on a forum and if the last post was in a sticky, I tend to miss it. Its always an after thought to check stickies, especially since they can be locked. I frequently notice this in the haven where everything is a sticky. Does anyone else have this habit? its annoying.

I overlook stickies too. Not sure why.

What's are stickies?

Above the list of topics in the subforums there are a number of sticky threads that are kept at the top because they are of significance for some reason.

I often ignore them. I never read the titles either.
