It's not really a problem that customers use the restrooms after I get through cleaning them, it's the lack of common sense my co worker has so he thinks I didn't clean them. Yes I clean them but it's still obvious they have been cleaned because not all the toilet seats are down and there is a little bit of paper towels in the trash and not all the toilets have a piece of toilet paper in them. I mean there are still people in the building and they use the fitness room and locker room so they also use the restroom and then go home while on the upper floors, they are bare because everyone has gone home but some stay after work and workout in the fitness center which is on the floor I work on.

But damn if this co worker keeps harassing me about my restrooms, I am going to tell my boss about it and let him know that there are still customers at work that stay to work out and then they use the restrooms and that is after I have cleaned them so the co worker thinks I didn't clean them so he leaves me passive aggressive notes and has accused me in person of not cleaning them.

But damn it doesn't everyone know that people use restrooms after they get cleaned so shouldn't they be assuming someone must have used the restrooms after being cleaned?

Thank goodness this co worker is on vacation and won't be back until Tuesday so that is four days of anxiety free and my other co worker laughed yesterday when I said "good, that means I can relax and not have to worry and that is four days of being relaxed at work without worrying about feeling harassed by him."

Also before this person started working in our building, I was told I was doing a good job and barely got any complaints but now they have started up but this time it's being done by a co worker than by customers. Like he doesn't like how I do my work so he complains. I left the cones out on the floor after I mopped and he complains to the boss because I didn't pick them up quick enough and he didn't like having to move them himself and put them aside when he would have to do some floor scrubbing. Doesn't like my wet mop head on the carpet so he complains. I clean the toilets and flush all the cleanser down after scrubbing the toilet bowls, so he complains and says I didn't clean the toilets just because he doesn't see any cleanser in them. That is because I flush it after I clean it. It just seems to me he is looking for anything to complain about and I often see him walking around where I am working and I wonder what he is even doing for a job, is it his job to walk around the building? But I don't worry about it because it's not my business and I am there to work so if someone else isn't going to do their job so they feel the need to walk around the building, their problem. But with him gone now, I have been noticing the other co worker he is always walking with has not been walking around in my area and he has actually been working because I see him with a trash barrel. Have I told the boss anything about these guys? No because I am no tattle tale. But I could tell on them if I want to just for revenge if they keep picking apart my work and finding anything to complain about. I get a feeling I am being silently bullied at work but I do gray rocking. I figure if I show no reaction and don't say anything about it and pretend I don't take notice, it will stop. I even asked my other co worker if they do this to her too and she said no. I asked to be sure if I was being paranoid or if this was just their thing they do so nothing personal.

And this guy claims he can't do his job well because "I am not doing my work." How in the hell does cones and a wet mop head keep him from doing his work? It takes no more than a few seconds to move those things. How does a cleaned used restroom keep him from doing his work? He even got pissed at me the other day when he put two glass bottles on my cart and I moved them to the trash barrel and I hear him cursing on the elevator after I put them in there saying "Don't put the f*****g bottles in there" and more yelling. The other day he also took my dust mop and mop even though the wet mop head wasn't even on it because I had remembered to take it off. So I had to go to the storage room and get another one and the next day they were back on my cart again so I had duplicates.

But I don't know what is it about me this man has about me for him to go after. I don't even say anything at work or even talk to anyone, I am kept to myself, I don't push or shove anyone or be a Cruella De Vil so what is it with me? I am just laid back and serious about my work. I do everything in the same order and anything new I am given, I try to remember it like when my boss told me to pick up my cones sooner so everyone isn't walking around them and to not leave the wet mop head on the rug and to change the mop head for every restroom and floor so five mop heads a day I should be using so I can use the same one for the yoga room and the hallway and use the same one for the break room and boss's restroom. I think I have been doing better after it getting into my routine. I have no idea if he is trying to stress me out so much I will quit and then he will move onto the next co worker. I am just hoping this will all blow over and he will get tired of it.

I don't blame you. It's the same thing where I work. The cleaning person cleans the bathroom, then people use it again--common sense!

This is at the crux of the matter, really.

Has the person who left the notes reported it to the boss? If so, you have an ironclad alibi.

The alibi of Common Sense.

Just tear up the notes! That's what I would do. There are just people who don't have a life, who want to ruin everybody else's. Don't let that person ruin yours.

The boss has not spoken to me about my work so it was probably just a threat when he said he would tell the boss about it again. I didn't take it seriously because I know I am doing my work and I would just tell the boss my side of the story. Unless this co worker is sabotaging my work, that would be another story and I would have definitely told the boss if I believed this was happening so he would know what is going on. Things are back to "normal" again for now. I am thinking of checking the restrooms everyday when I get done with all my work to see how much the restrooms had been used again and then when he gets back, I can check them again and see again how much they had been used. If they are worse when this co worker is back, I will start taking photos everyday of my work to show the boss I am indeed doing my job and this is how I look after I get done cleaning them. I can tell the co worker about it too so he knows I do have evidence of my own work so he would quit accusing me. But I hope this isn't the case.
