Actually, in Amazing Spiderman, both one and two, you kinda feel for the villains (except for Rhino, who is just a crazy jerk with a fancy suit)
I mean Lizard kinda went nuts after that guy fired him and was going to take away his special arm because he wouldn't test an unsafe product on a group of senior citizens and the bully guy was gonna do it anyway. Later, Connors/Lizard found out the power the lizard ability gave him and wanted to make all of mankind stronger. Good cause but wrong actions.
As for Electro, he was jerked around by Oscorp and ignored by everyone, including his own mother. Then he kinda was put in a hospital, left with electric powers, was bullied by police and then Spidey shows up and the cops act out, but Electro doesn't know that and thinks Spidey betrayed him and then Electro goes nuts. Later, they lock up Electro and run experiments on him.
As for Osborne, his dad wasn't there for him, he had a terminal disease, though perhaps it wouldn't hit for a while yet, and then Oscorpe frames him for what happened with Electro.
I think I liked Harry less though cuz he killed Gwen and he meant to do it. (I think Connors wouldn't have killed Captain Stacy in his right mind, as he helped rescue Peter and then told him that Captain Stacy was injured when he lost the Lizard look.)
Also, though I like the part with Peter's parents in the Amazing Spiderman, I still think the Spiderman Trilogy was better done overall.
