Buffy was a good show. I watched the entire series when it aired. I preferred the 'regular' episodes to the ones dealing with a 'big bad'. They were more fun.
I didn't care all that much for the spin-off series Angel.

I absolutely love this show (massive Whedon fan). Watched it when it aired mostly and then bought the box set a few years later during a difficult time in my life and it helped get me through it. It still invokes an emotional reaction in me - makes me laugh and cry etc. I prefer the later series - the college years! I have some of the graphic novels which I need to finish - am a bit rubbish at finishing them.

That show started to unravel for me during Season 4. It could have bounced back, but it really went downhill for me during Season 5. I liked the show's initial premise- Buffy (The Chosen One) bands together with her quirky friends and mentor to solve demon related mysteries/crime and kick demon but. I liked the simplicity of the early Good vs. Evil stuff. I liked the wittiness, and the sense of formed family. After that I just kept watching for the fanfic and discussions that show provoked.
