My tablet was working fine and all of a sudden its been slow and wont play my favorite radio station. Ive had it for about a year.

This really sucks because now I have to listen to the CBC and they dont play as good music as kexp.org.

We've had a Galaxy Tab2 since 2013 that is still going fine, although I've factory reset and battery reset twice. I did both at the same time each time. Also just make sure it isn't clogged up with apps, photos, videos and other bits and pieces that don't need to be there.

This post might be best moved to off topic discussion>random discussion? I apologise if I've misunderstood and there was a good reason for it to be in here.

Yes I never thought about putting this in random discussion but it could work here because I am freaking out without internet. Its just the internet that was not working. It worked from 1 until 4pm yesterday but then the internet wouldn't work. I brought it down to my parents and my dad cleaned it and it is working down here so far. Everyone else in my building was using their internet while mine didn't work. Everything on the tablet works fine except internet. I don't know maybe it just needed to be cleaned or maybe I need a new one. We've actually had it for two years now...

My android tablet is very slow now at 5 years old. Factory rest might help but it’s probably a combination of each new update will slow it down as the old processor tries to keep up with software designed fir a newer more powerful processor, and apparently they slow down devices with old batteries to compensate for random shut offs. Apple just got caught doing it but guarantee they all do it. Also benefits them cause people go out to buy new devices.

Okay so my dad cleared the cache and did some clean ups on it. Its working now but still is a little glitchy whatever thats all about. I would have such a hard time without internet as I live alone and am unemployed. I hope it continues to work and hopefully it just needed to be cleaned.

I hope that does the trick for you :) I can understand why it not working would be hard. Unfortunately some technology doesn't really work as long as you'd hope, at least not if you keep trying to run latest apps etc on it. I think about 2 years is what most people expect to get out of phones/tablets. I just can't afford to replace ours.
