It takes far more than willpower and self esteem to quit smoking. I smoked about 25 cigarettes a day for 33 years. I haven’t had a cigarette in 11 years now and hope to never again. I tried several times to quit. I made it 6 weeks once and then right back to a pack a day. It’s a physical addiction and a mental addiction. It is a stim.
Did your boyfriend smoke in the apartment before you moved in or is this a new thing?
