My auntie will be flying over the Bermuda Triangle

My auntie and her family are flying from UK to St Lucia next week, but I heard the route involves flying over the Bermuda Triangle. That is a mysterious area of the planet where planes and boats have disappeared in the past.

What if the plane my aunt will be on disappears into the Bermuda Triangle? I know planes fly over there every day, but nothing's happened for a while so it might decide to happen soon. I don't want my loved ones vanishing into mystery.

Is it really true that ships and planes have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle? Should planes really be flying over there? It's worried me.

Like you said, many planes and ships go into the Bermuda Triangle every day.

The odds on anything happening are infinitesimal at best.

There is nothing mysterious about the Bermuda Triangle, it just so happens to be a place where a lot of tropical storms/bad weather occurs which explains all the seemingly mysterious loss of planes and ships. Travel by plane is the safest methos of transportation statistically.

Many of the planes and ships that have allegedly disappeared in the "Bermuda Triangle" have actually sunk elsewhere or were still in service for many years, after having been sold other owner. Their eventual wrecks or retirements had nothing to do with the "Bermuda Triangle".
