If I wake up feeling distressed, my parents dont force me to go to school. I do have bad days and sometimes going to school in a bad mood is not a good idea. I went to school once while in a bad mood and I had a meltdown and ended up having to go home early. Thats not a fun experience. Meltdowns happen but sometimes they are quite bad. My special ed teacher can tell I will have a meltdown before it happens. I usually start rocking back and forth and waving my hands around. I sometimes cannot sit still. Thats when a meltdown happens. Meltdowns involve leaving class in a rage or refusing to do work and putting my head on the desk. I sometimes scratch or hit myself as well.

I was forced to learn to stop myself from having meltdowns at skewl because I got in trouble when I did. I did not have a diagnoses of Aspergers at the time thou. I just had learning disabilities & AD(H)D on my IEPs. If I wanted to miss skewl for some reason I would say I had a migraine/headache. My parents forced me to go to skewl 1ce when I had one & I vomited on the way there so they haven't forced me to go when I was feeling bad since. I would wake up with migraines & headaches a lot probably because of stress.
