The first episode wasn't good, so I never bothered to watch more of them. I guess it must get better later on.

From what I read- the general agreed assessment of whether or not you will like the show is to get through episode 8 of the first season. A bit of a time commitment yes, but I assure you- the first episode is no way representative of what the show can do.

That's a lot of episodes to sit through.

Then again, I sat through an awful lot of Trailer Park Boys before it got to the "good stuff".
