Thanks, Kara.

I saw the movie last weekend. It was pretty decent, actually.

They don't come like Laurel and Hardy any more.

I saw a clip of Richard Pryor back around 1966, before he started with all the cursing; he still had amazing talent. Profanity is not needed in true comedy.

Kip became a Mod on WP when he was 17. He has many "wunderkind" characteristics.

I hope he comes back soon.

You're welcome, kortie. :)

I'm a big movie buff and I enjoy recommending films to people I think they might like, it makes me happy when they enjoy them too.

Thus far, to me, it does not appear to be worth the cost benefit analysis. Risk versus reward. Social and romantic relationship

Yes I feel left out sometimes, when I am bored, holidays, wounded.

But relationship just do not seem worth the effort

Relationship could go wrong at any time for any reason or no reason

Fear of failure and social rejection

But You do need at least one caring, reliable person (outside of therapist) to be able to go to. I hope u have such a person

Right now I have one friend. She has been my friend for just over one year.

If and when she dumps me, zero friends.

Drop in counseling clinic, free

The professional counselor told me that the insurance stopped paying for counseling, last October

But counseling was not going anywhere anyways

I met a woman that claimed she couldn't sleep unless she had someone with her. Like, literally.

Just be glad you're not her. (And I'm glad I don't have to be her partner)
Sounds like my dream girl. I HATED sleeping alone when I was single. I was also very unhappy being single. I never had a high desire to be around others(like friends) except I LOVE spending time with my romantic partners. I don't mind having friends but I only want a couple & to do stuff with them every now & then. I don't wanna hangout every day. I get my social needs met by spending LOTS of time with my girlfriend. Maybe it'll help Kip if you could find a girlfriend to spend your time with but I know from personal experience that it can be much easier said than done. Perhaps you'll have luck if you join a dating sites & you could try to meet someone on this forum. I met both my exes & current girlfriend on forums, the ladder two were this one. FB & other social sites might could be useful too. Kip you could look for online friends as well & maybe some will live nearby. There were times I had a lot of online friends & they helped me feel better about things. You & anyone else is very welcome to PM me if you want to chat or something.
