I can't work so mum makes me feel bad

Thanks. I think most people on here get it.

I live in a better accommodation than I'd otherwise be able to afford to rent. But I do pay her rent and apart from that, I pay my own expenses.

When I say I work as a poet what I mean is I don't lounge around in bed all day - I do something to make myself productive. Not all work pays. I know it's not paying work.

In fact, I'm not allowed to do work which does pay. I'm also not allowed to do regular volunteering without telling the government and being treated as disabled in the (voluntary) workplace.
