When I go to the soup kitchen my uncle goes on about how the world is going to end. Im going to tune him out from now on. But he did have a good point. The world population was 3 billion when he was young. It went up almost 5 billion since then. He is olny 50 now. So Im worried what the future is going to be like since Im 34. Im scared.

Its developing countries like India that are an issue since people may not have access to birth control.

It is a scary thought. I've also heard things about how the insect population going down which could screw things up in the next hubdred years. And there are plenty of other bad omens out there, but I guess only time will tell as to whether or not these are really problems and if so, how catastrophic they will be. Maybe we'd be capable of colonizing other planets by now if everybody could just get along and focus. I don't know what can be said to put your mind at ease though, and I know saying don't worry about it rarely works. But I do think about this kind of thing a lot as well. And I'm only four years younger than you, so I too will probably see the fallout unfortunately.
