If (as so many people have said here) 9-11 was an "excuse" to invade Iraq for whatever reason...
Why invade Afghanistan? Why wait years to go after the "actual" target?
After all, if they can invent all sorts of reasons to be in Iraq, it follows logically that they could have just said Osama was in Iraq, and saved themselves the bother of invading a completely different country at great expense.
Also.. if the government is actually run by the illuminati, or the masons, or secret nazi survivors, or the esoteric order of dagon, then surely their plans would be long term? Hence, why waste a perfectly good excuse to invade Iraq (Persian Gulf distraction, 91) when everyone was FOR it, including the Iraqis? They could have done it then, not waited a decade and some, and invited all this peering into their super-secret business.
If the buildings were removed by the americans themselves.. well, thats a long long string of people who are going to know about it, and that sort of kill ratio weighs heavily on the human mind. It suggests that literally dozens, possibly hundreds of conspirators could countenance, plan, and dispatch the cold blooded murder of thousands of their own citizens and foreign nationals, and none of them said a word about it?
Oh, and theres the small matter of the foreign nationals. Would america really risk virtually all of its international relationships by slaughtering friendly nations subjects? Generally, nations react badly to this sort of thing.
Someone also mentioned that muslims wouldnt be able to do a controlled demolition of the towers. Why not? Not only have they tried it before, theres also the fact that being muslim does not automatically make you an obvious terrorist. If Russian spies can infiltrate western institutions, so can muslims.
