Living in my apartment making me depressed that why I’m not doing things I want to do, I feel like crying. I hate these thin walls, it must be thin, I can hear people talking around my apartment & hear very loud music coming from the the house next to my apartment building. My life is soooo messed up.

Do you guys get lonely? I get lonely and it makes me depressed. Im alone in one room all day with nothing to do but go on the internet.

Music helps. But Im sure kitty doesnt want to hear music coming from elsewhere. So maybe you could get someone to sound proof your apartment?

Depression is treatable. Kitty, what are you doing for treatment? The main approaches are medication and talk therapy. Are you doing either of these?

Soundproofing your apartment costs $$$

Ask neighbor to be quiet and they might take out revenge

Call 911 and they might ignore you

Counseling $$$$

Drugs $$$$ and side effects

You can soundproof a room by putting foam in the ceiling tiles and comforters on the walls. It works pretty good.

There is a type of depression called Seasonal Affective Disorder that occurs during the winter due to the reduced sunlight & people staying indoors more due partly to the weather. Perhaps it's something similar with you Kitty even thou there's more sunlight & the weather is getting better now. Maybe going outside would help. It doesn't have to be some big thing, just sitting outside for a while on days you can just to get alittle more sunlight, some fresh air, & a change of scenery. It might also help to open the blinds & windows if you can.
