I thought the first season was well thought out. The second season seemed to lack a little. Have higher hopes when season 3 drops in July. Overall, I give it a thumbs up.
On a different note: I wen to high school with the actress that plays Barb's mom. Earned me some cool points with the nieces and nephews when they found out.
