...They found blood in my brain :( and kept me around for a while. Eventually they discharged me, but gave .e some new pills to prevent seizures, also cutting down my dineged pills to less, as they felt that they had hurt my balance, leading to the fall. I still feel awkward/dizzy when walking, and I:m afraid of more seizures  . I
My jaw burts too, a d the slot on the back of my head where I hit the floor  ..I'm worried that this really could be the start of a downward journey.

I am sorry to hear about your fall. My mom fell and broke her hip years ago. She had diabetes. I suspect her fall was not due to the diabetic pills she was taking but rather to the disease itself. Diabetes made her more susceptible to infections. When she got an infection, it made her more prone towards dizzy spells and falling.

When she fell and broke her hip she was on the floor for many hours. She lived alone. It took her a half a day to maneuver to the phone to get help. So if you live alone I would suggest getting a Life Alert necklace pendant, maybe one with Automatic Home Fall Detection system installed.

Have you thought of getting a walker? It would give you somewhere to sit when you feel dizzy. They’re a lot safer and sturdier than a crutch. Plus they usually have a basket that you could store some of your things in.

...A problem with a walker is: (1) it makes you crouch. With a crutch you can stretch yourself. I have enough problems with my back already :( . (2) You sure have to carry a lot too. Especially being homeless, I have to/get inclined towards carrying so much with me :(. That dtrai s my body too. I have these pains now  - They may be partly bedbugs, from here in this shelter. And I have these pains in my jae :( .
If I get that windfall money I was speaking.of in another line, maybe try to get an apartment of some sort, so that, if worse comes to worst and I only have some months left, I could.try to enjoy myself - in.my.lonely.lavk-of-docial-skills Aspie way  - with some reading and watchinlisyeming/biewing at the end, even if the going to uni will never be  . Or, if I'm propelled onto " respectable recently.homeless ' and don't die.soon, maybe I'llseem.nice enough.for Social Services to help :? .

Actually if your walker is set up by someone who knows what they are doing, you will stand straight. Probably better than with your crutch. Walkers are height adjustable. It only takes a screw driver.

I used a walker while I was recuperating from corrective leg surgery. It was set up for me to walk with my normal posture.
