Other option: it turned out it was her husband who answered phone, and person who called was someone else it turned out, her husband thought it was my husband.... She apologized.
Wow, she apologized for her mistake and for accusing your husband?
Not very many people apologize for their mistakes and will never admit they were wrong. I have gotten so used to people not ever apologizing for their mistakes I am now surprised when someone actually does apologize. I even forget what they even did because I got so used to it and it became so normal, I literally forget about the incident. Then I feel bad for not even remembering because I bet I would make them think "why even apologize if people forget anyway?" and then they never will apologize for their mistakes again thinking the other person might have forgotten anyway. Then when that person does actually remember and hold it against us, we then think "they have a grudge and they sure bring it up now when they didn't make it an issue before, they are such a troll because they didn't bring it up before when it bothered them and now they bring it up now?" and we cancel them thinking they are toxic because we don't need that BS in our life.
