For the last few months, I’ve taken Berberine vitamins in the morning. The grocer where I buy them from recommended them for mental health as well as neuroplasticity but they aren’t really doing anything for me. I sometimes fear my brain isn’t plastic and can’t change since I failed to reach certain milestones before I became 25.

As far as I know, vitamin pills in general don't tend to make a difference unless you're really lacking that necessary vitamin and even then the differences are usually physical, like being less tired. And those that do have some kind of effect can take several months.

Neuroplasticity requires frequent exercising of the brain to do new things.

An example is improving handwriting. I suggest practicing several times a day for 15 minutes. I'm sure that practicing will work better than any pill. There was a recent AARP article that said the brain improvement pills don't work.
