Female patrons complain!

I have experienced this type of treatment in the past but in bars and clubs why do female patrons in particular complain too bouncers/door staff if a male behaves in an odd way? A man doesn’t even too say anything too a woman but him just looking or behaving strange is enough too make women annoyed.

I was reading about one guy who kicked of his local bar just for looking ‘weird’ and allegedly standing too close too women and the majority of complaints were by female customers.

Because when a man at a bar is looking in acting in a way that isn't quite right, many women are worried their lives or well-being could be in danger. Women get drugged, harassed, raped or killed after going to bars all the time. It happens to men as well, but statistically not as much. Men can go almost anywhere they want by themselves and not worry about such things even at night, but women can't and that's not fair. I'm always stuck in my apartment at night because it's not safe for me to go out by myself, I have no one who can go with me, and when I have gone out alone at night I have run into some creepy people, even though it was just shopping at a store. If I could, I would go out to mall or the stores all the time at around 7 or 8 pm at night because there are less people shopping. But I can't.

Because women are often more likely to end up their victims, especially if they are the ones being stared at or the ones those guys go too close to. If male patrons got harassed as much as female ones tend to, they'd probably complain more too... or maybe the males are more likely to deal with the problem with their fists instead of telling anyone... I could imagine it going that way here, especially if alcohol was involved.

As pointed out women have legitimate reasons to fear men staring them down. When women “check out” men, men tend to have there egos boosted and see opportunity.

When I attended support groups the topic of men who got into trouble for being unintentionally creepy often came up. This was before #Metoo so the problem has to be worse now. The suggest solution came from Tony Attwood was to bring a wingman with you to bars and clubs.
