I must really be missing something obvious. I clicked the PM for the person I wanted to send a message to. I typed the message and thought I pushed 'Send'. But I guess the option must have been 'Save'?

Anyway, this morning I checked; it did not get sent and it's in my Outbox. I click on the message, but it still gives me no options to send it, just 'Save' or 'Delete'.

What obvious thing am I missing here??? :?

Thanks.

It actually has been sent, but the person has not received it yet. Rather, they have not read it yet.

Okay, I guess it has been sent then. I was just expecting it to be in my 'Sent' folder not my 'Outbox'.

Thanks.

Does the person you are sending to actually get notice that they have a message waiting for them to read?

The reason I ask is because it's been about a week and it's still sitting in my outbox.

Alot people rarely get PM so they may not notice at the top of the screen that they have a message. Here I will send you one.

Well alot people like myself do not have their account set up to get email notices of PM. So in many cases your depending on the person to notice at the top of the screen that they got a message.

When I receive a PM and want to Save it, I click Save but - IT DISAPPEARS FOREVER.

What did I do wrong? Is there any way to get it back?

Doesn't Save mean SAVE?

Not sure. I never used that save feature but I just tried it and it worked fine. Maybe someone else will have some helpful suggestions.

Ends up in your savebox.

A whole bunch of my PMs vanished from my in-box a couple of days ago. Is it normal for that kind of thing to happen?

Thanks

I can think of two reasonable reasons.

Either your inbox was full, and they got deleted off the end,
or the author deleted them.
