As far as the reading, do you enjoy reading some of the same topics?

Interesting problem. I can understand that the boss of your care giver (Karen) would not want this because if this internet friend turns out to be a predator, then Karen's life might be put in danger and well as your life. But perhaps there is a middle of the ground approach. You might designate the first meet-up location just to be on the safe side. I would recommend a police station. If the individual was not who they pretended to be and was a predator or threat, then that would be the last place they would want to enter.

Find out the hours of operation for the police station and schedule the meet up when they are open and also explain to the police that you are on the autistic spectrum and you want to meet someone for the first time in a protected safe space out of abundance of caution.

I think that I have seen some police departments having designated places in their parking lots that are under 24/7 video surveillance for offline meeting places, mostly because people on Craigslist were arranging sales online then robbing the buyer offline when they go to meet. Might want to check into whether or not the area you live in offers those type meeting places be it at the police station, a city park or whatever.

Just keep in mind that while it may not feel fair, those who are looking out for you do so because they care about you and don't want to see you get hurt. Personally, I wouldn't write anyone off or make any assumptions about them just because they were a nude model, but people have a point in that you don't know who you are really talking to so your safety is a priority.

The Mama bear in me is getting scared, just reading this. Please, listen to your Dad and carer. If something/someone seems too good to be true, it usually is.

I met my current girlfriend & both my exes on online forums. The ladder two were this one but I also heard LOTS of stories about people who were raped, kidnapped, &/or killed by people they met online. Watch the ID channel. Shows like Web Of Lies are based on true stories & only the really lucky victims are still alive to give their accounts of what happened. This said it seems likely to me that the people who are against this are against this out of concern for you. One major feature of being on the spectrum is difficulty reading & judging others, their wants, needs, intentions ect. I'm not telling you to give up on the idea of meeting her OP, just that you gotta take precautions. Going over your family & carer/s heads & trying to meet that woman alone is more risky & dangerous. The fact that you have a carer makes me suspect that you might be either more low functioning than some of us &/or your family is more concerned/protective about you. Lots of us are not lucky enough to have carers. I'm sure I would of done aLOT better in life if I had one but having a carer does take away some independence & freedom to make your own decisions. I think the best corse of action is to try to arrange a meeting with your father &/or carer there. There are safer ways & places to meet than a hotel at night. This idea is out of the box but maybe you could reach out to the show Catfish. They try to arrange & set up meetings for their clients with the people they've been talking to online. Some of those people really are who they say they are. It may also be helpful for others to judge if they know how you met her on twitter. Like was she just a friend of a friend of a friend who suddenly added you as a friend or did you & her meet on some sort of group or page or something. I never used twitter or facebook so I'm not entirely sure how social media works nowadays.

I agree with Nick that the show catfish might be a good idea.
