Wasn't even a fight - rather the opposite.
But hate this totally because you can't really hide it.
Ten days of dumb questions and annotations...

Not sure what the opposite would be :P , but sorry to hear that.

Put ice-compresses on it for as long as 20 min if you can take it a few times a day and switch to warm ones after 2 or 3 days, it will heal faster :)

You can always tell people you "walked into a door" and they'll just think your wife beat you up :)

Just say "You should have seen the other man!"

Sorry to hear though. Dark glasses may help?

A guy wanted to celebrate me and wear me on his shoulders. He wasn't strong enough to lift me up and did fell at half height and I hit the ground a nice way and got a bump on my forehead. Two days later the eye became black. Need better donkeys... :eye:

I see... my mind wandered to a... naughtier place I'm afraid :P

Put ice on it, brother, when I was practising Krav Maga, I used to just walk into work nonchalantly looking like a battlefield, you can pull it off too

He clearly needs to work out regularly if he likes to indulge such urges.

Sorry to hear and hope it heals without infection or complications

You are right but don't worry. The only complications in this case are dumb annotations and questions the next days. It's not the first time that I face this. :eye:

A regular concealer or foundation will not work to cover a black eye, because they will match the wearer’s skin. Thickly applied make up will simply look unnatural. What will be effective is the use of corrective concealers which come in hues of yellow and green. Although it might seem very strange to use yellow or green on the face, these colours have been shown to neutralize the bluish red of bruises. A liquid concealer will be easier to apply and blend than the cream variety.

Thanks but I better skip any usage of makeup. I'm kind of colorblind and unexperienced with any kind of makeup and this could make the things worse. I would need a makeup artist every day. :)
At least it's not a tatoo and there are more important things on earth than funny colors in my face.

Frozen vegetables make a nice ice pack in a pinch because they’re relatively movable. Unfortunately they taste horrible if you cook and eat them afterwards.

Thank you - nice idea. But it's already a lot brighter now. I guess two days and it's invisible.

Btw. German call it 'Blue Eye' or 'Veilchen' (Violet). The last day of carnival is named after it 'Veilchen Dienstag' (Violets Tuesday'). It's just today. :eye:
