uhh...I can't sleep, too much pandemic going around.

Saw the grocery store today...me and my boyfriend thought we might get some ramen noodles, nope whole entire stock was gone except for a few instant noodle bowls I grabbed two. But whatever we got a ton of rice and beans, potatoes
some canned and frozen veggies and may grab some more tomorrow so we will have food. lines were backed up though and I just wonder what the employees are going to have left at the end of their shift. Maybe in this kind of emergency they can take some stuff from the back or something...because by the time some of these people get off shift there wont be anything left for them.

Hasn't even hit my state heavy yet, but still everyone was stocking up at the grocery store. Saw some people with bottled water...our water is fine here just seems like a waste and a good way for bottled water companies to make more money than they deserve. If the water is safe to drink, which it should be as I looked at their water toxicity report for my community and the water is fine to drink so IDK why people think they need to stock on water. Buy freaking food...we have water already that is safe to drink.

glad you were able to get "a ton" of something. :)

here TP is still hard to find...when i clocked in at work today (i work at a deli in a thriftway) there were quite a few bog rolls to go around. by the time lunch came around they were all gone.

i really don't get it. are people planning to s**t out the virus or what, if i saw empty shelves of non-perishable foods it would make sense but i'm not really seeing it to the same extent!

americans be sh*****g...

what's the situation like in your area? here there are 200+ cases in my county, about 20 dead, first cases on my island have been confirmed. welp

That's only for people who can't prove who they are. I've been able to prove who I am since age 16. Why is it bad policy to ask for Id? I hear stories of polls shutting down, but I never know anyone it's happened to.

I’ve said this so many times my throat is sore and my typing fingers are growing calluses: The societal response is likely to be worse than the virus.

Trump is considering restricting travel even within the U.S.

There go my plans to move to Seattle.

He says a lot of things: how many of them have happened?
From here it looks like very little: but with a lot of antagonism, is that wrong?

I know people who don't have ID. People with disabilities, people who don't drive, people without a birth certificate, people living on the streets, elderly people of minority groups.

I have also tried help people get IDs. It's quite difficult in some situations.

GOP promulgates voter ID laws, then systematically makes it nigh well impossible to get said ID. a sneaky low-down form of disenfranchisement if you ask me. but nobody does [ask me]. :|
