Mine was a plastic (and very realistic-looking) savannah monitor lizard. I don’t recall ever actually naming it, but gosh, I loved that thing. I still have it, although when I was little I chewed off some of its toes and the tip of its tail.

I actually wish I could still get away with carrying a stuffed animal in public without drawing attention, because I have become very attached to my stuffed tiger shark (Lilia). I’m debating whether I want to carry her around anyway or would feel too awkward.

I had a toy velociraptor I did that with too. Even more impressively, I haven't chewed his tail off.

In my twenties I used to carry Noire with me when I'd go to cons or similar. I still do it occasionally and I swear it's not just a Vincent 'The Oddfather' Gigante ploy.
