I'm just stressing because I've literally got a lot of important phonecalls and appointments to make and I'm so scared that the government is going to force another lockdown upon us and I won't be able to do these things.

I need to get my mobile phone upgraded, as I can't be without my phone. But I need to go into the phone store because I struggle with setting up a new phone and the contract and everything and I prefer them to do it for me and I can ask questions if I need to. But sometimes this can take up to an hour and a half or more.
Also I need to get my hair cut as it's getting out of shape and it looks weird, but I'll probably have to book an appointment and I'm worried the country might go into lockdown before the appointment and then I won't get my hair cut for another 6 months.

I really really hate this year.

They’re doing lockdowns on an individual city basis. Most of the south of the UK is classified as “unlikely” to get a lockdown.

One example: Lewisham, a very populated area, only had 11 positives yesterday. They are in the “green zone.”

According to the CDC (I know, I know), 25% of all Americans from 18 to 24 have seriously considered suicide during the past 30 days.

I can't imagine how well people who were balanced on the precipice of mental illness (most of us) are feeling after months of this disruption

If this last much longer (and it will, at least to the Election), the human cost of this lockdown may be staggering.

I thought practically all of London was "high".

There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically. "May be," the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "May be," replied the old man.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "May be," answered the farmer.

The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "May be," said the farmer.

This is incredibly arbitrary, cities and countries that claim to be free of the virus are popping up with new cases. If the outbreak in NZ is correct then patient zero picked up COVID from handling freight not from human-human contact. This doesn't bode well.
