As stated in the other thread on this topic, another WP member knows exactly how to fix this, and it's apparently a simple fix. It's just not getting done.

Yeah, this is kind of ret*d, but what can you do?

I need a new project to keep busy, so I just registered a domain name for my own aspie site (fantaspie.com), which I hope to have running in a few months. It'll use YAF.NET, and Google maps to create an "aspie map". If anyone has any feature suggestions, let me know.

This does suck. It makes it difficult to
track down issues of concern.

my wrongplanet computer is currently being repaired. I will fix this issue once I can use my development machine which will hopefully end up being very very soon.

Cool. Keep us posted? (Hmmm...I understand you risk getting banned from WP for posting a URL of a 'competing' Aspie site, so on second thought, please PM me when it's up?)

Oh. I must have been confused by this thread, where a moderator has clearly removed a link to another forum, or this other thread, where you write:
Quote:
People complain when other members abuse WrongPlanet by creating threads directing people to other websites. It clutters the forums with unwanted information.

So for the sake of clarity then, folks won't be banned for posting links, but their links will be immediately removed. Is that right? It's your site Alex; obviously you can do what you please. I'd just like to get a clear idea of what the guidelines are.

And all the more reason to please PM me when your site's up, jfberge. :?

I hadn't thought about that, but apparently it's not a wrongplanet sin (thanks, alex). Anyway, the site is currently only a twinkle in my eye (and a fresh Visual Studio project).

Sometimes, it's hard to get the story
straight. But AFAIK, as long as you aren't
spamming the site about, and it doesn't
contain adult content, you are free to mention
it.

Instead using "View all posts by....." try using the internal search-engine.
Credit should go to lau for mentioning this as an option. Here is the link for more info:
