Ok, so i am... My husband is going to law school this semester. All summer we hung out and did things together, and now its straight to school and straight to work. the kitchen is clean, i even made lunch for the next three days for him. I have an early job, and he has a late job during the semester, so we only see each other for a few hours. I always have an adjustment period when school starts, as i am graduated and have a catering job. No more school for me.

Now i am really bored. I know it is a good time to myself and i have already cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, bleached everything that needs to be bleached, cooked, sorted clothes for goodwill, got a tan, took a walk, and that was just a few hours. I am bored bored bored. its just an adjustment until i get used to it. we just seemed to bond this summer and i miss him. any suggestions on how to make the transition a little easier?

I cant really imagine being bored.I never have enough time to do all the things I want to do.Try lifting weights, learning yoga or reflexoligy or chart your astrological chart(even if it is silly). If you live near a descent size city you could do some dumpster diving or thrift-storing and then make "something" with your finds. Then there is the 1,ooo video games to play, books to read.
Do you remeber something you enjoyed doing when you were a kid(for me it was going rock climbing or rock hunting.

There are a million things to do and read on-line.(good lord, bored?)I think what you maye feeling is lonely. It happens to some people(I have heard). When your whole focus has been one person it can be hard to learn to refocus but at least if you guys arent together...all the time...you wont be bored with each other.

Wow, but I can't stop laughing.

Don't you have any interests of your own to pursue?

Yeah.... sounds like someone needs a hobby ;)

If that fails porn addiction and maintenance drinking could probably fill up some time.
(by the way, not at all serious about the porn addiction and maintenance drinking, thats bad mojo lol)

Seriously though, find a video store that gives you those unlimited rental things and start watching entire series for starters. I recomend 24, deadwood, ghost in the shell: stand alone complex, and house. I hear weeds is good and I liked what I saw of big love but haven't had the pleasure of truly indulging yet.
Then you can buy a few books, watch some game shows, do home improvement things like how I blocked out the window in my room yesterday, etc.
I think you'll be fine.

Eeh. . . don't know that tv legitimately qualifies as an interest. . . I was thinking more of volunteering at a homeless shelter, or saving the whales, or learning how to make curry or teach integral calculus. The world is so full of interesting things. . . ..

Already got the curry covered. I'm getting better. Finishing up a burrito costume i started a while ago. I am in an Oldenberg mood. Must make giant foodstuffs out of soft material!! !
