The only "evidence" the election was "stolen" comes from the suppurating lips of the loser of that election.

The author equates "Russiagate" with its most extreme variant -- the idea that Trump himself is a Russian spy. This, I don't think, is likely. (I don't think the Russians would trust Trump, given Trump's unstable personality.)

However, various people associated with Trump's campaign were tried and convicted (and then eventually pardoned by Trump) for various inappropriate dealings with Russia.

It's also clear to me that Russian influence played a significant role in helping Trump's campaign get off the ground back in 2015. (See my post here for one of the reasons why I say this.)

The reasons why the Russians wanted to help Trump are obvious: (1) Trump was preaching paleo-conservativism, one of whose aims is isolationism, i.e. getting the U.S.A. to withdraw from various international commitments/alliances. (2) Russia has a long history of aiding various extremist groups in the U.S.A., on both the extreme right and the extreme left, but primarily on the extreme right, with the aim of generally stirring up trouble. So naturally they would want to aid an especially divisive candidate for the U.S. presidency. (3) I would expect the Russians to hate Hillary Clinton, as an extension of their hatred of Bill Clinton, under whose presidency NATO expanded into Eastern Europe.

Another problem is that, given Trump's extreme narcissism, he most likely is very easily manipulable by people who know how to flatter him in just the right way. And I would expect Putin to be a master of manipulation (even more so than Trump himself is). Hence there is reason to be concerned that Putin may have manipulated Trump into revealing more information to Putin than he should have, even if Trump was never a deliberate traitor.

My interpretation of this Cold War "Pally"-ness is different from yours. I think Russia and the USA were genuine rivals and that their leaders genuinely feared each other, but acted "Pally" toward each other as a way of keeping the peace -- which was ultimately backed up not by the "Pally"-ness alone, but by the nuclear strategy of "MAD" (mutually-assured destruction).
