All potential plans have been destroyed before they could even happen. I have nothing to live for.

How did that psychopath you have for a mom react when she found out?

I haven’t told her and I probably won’t. It won’t change anything to do so.

So you are just gonna die? Well that seems extreme. How about, instead, moving away from home and starting life anew in another setting?

Brother Marknis, do you have family living in another state?

I do but they have their own lives and there is no room for me in any of them.

Because you hate your job, have you considered applying for VR services?

VR offices for Texas are unfortunately located in Austin.

However, VR can help you get a better life for yourself without being codependent on anyone.

VR agents of Oregon have been working with me for four years and they have been a great help.

I get that. So maybe tomorrow, you can contact Heart of Central Texas Independent Living agency (HOCTIL). They can help you get there.

I don’t know the logistics of doing such a thing. My mind already feels like it will be an unproductive endeavor. My job, the driving distance, and if I’ll even qualify make me feel like nothing will come of it.

Considering they are based in Belton, the city that has rejected me from getting a new job and recently volunteering, I don’t think anything productive will come from talking to them.

"The city" didn't reject you. Two organizations there did.

Of course, before you drive down there, it would be a good idea to call the Heart of Central Texas Independent Living agency (HOCTIL) and see if you can get a phone or video chat appointment to discuss whether you are eligible for their services.

It was Belton city hall that didn’t call me back about the library so the city did reject me in that regard because the library had no say.

I thought of emailing because I honestly dislike talking on the phone and video chatting won’t work properly since my laptop no longer has a working battery and is painfully slow. But because of my job being a millstone around my neck and my prospects of getting hired somewhere else are extremely low, what really are my odds in getting any sort of services?

Have you fully explored the website of Heart of Central Texas Independent Living Center to see what services, if any, they offer for disabled people who have jobs?

I wouldn't expect emailing them to be an effective way of contacting them, except as a way to get put on an announcement mailing list.

A lot of us are looking for a companion and/or partner to be with. Someone to love and cuddle up to.

You will find somebody, but maybe the speed dating event was not to be.
