Thankful to hear your update and trusting she will make a full recovery. The steady improvement she has shown is a good sign. So thankful she has someone like you I'm her life as support. Keep us posted as often as you can

Emotional lability is common after strokes, because of brain damage. In her case it could be causing the tears even though I'm sure she does feel sad or nostalgic to speak with you. In my case I couldn't stop laughing during the stroke and for about a month afterward. It was completely involuntary and I couldn't stop it. People thought I went mad, or that I wasn't taking the situation seriously. It turned out I have something called PseudoBulbar Affect or PBA. That might be something Blint is experiencing when she cries, so rest assured it won't last forever. The good news is that you were able to see her on video, hear her voice, and confirm that she hasn't forgotten you. That's worth gold, and I'm sure she'll only get better from hereon in. I bet your presence gave her confidence and reassurance to continue getting better.
Hugs to you both.

Hugs to you both.
Still haven't had the chance to see her yet, nor on video.
They moved her once again to another ward, but this time I've heard no further updates.
When I tried calling this ward, seems like its a number that nobody seems to pick up from, just that alone is very distressing.
That's a plus she still remembers.

I'm sorry I misunderstood. *swears into the universe*
Has anyone been able to see her? Her family?

Not so far if I recall.
I really want to go there, but still want to get more information from the ward she is in.
Little to no surprise, nobody in this ward seems to pick up the phone.

If so, you should go.
Bring masks, gloves.
Just found out today that they do indeed accept only visitor under certain circumstances.
- If they are receiving end of life treatment (2 visitors).
- If the person is known to have mental health, learning difficulties and/or autism.
- If they have been in the hospital for 7 days.
- If you are the birthing partner.
These 2 reasons that are put in bold would be the main reasons.

Okay, that looks like good possibility of being allowed to visit.
