i had endoscopy and cant stop burping

i had a endoscopy today (a camera down to the stomach
but ever since i got home iv done nothing but burp
its late i want to go to bed but when i lay down i feel like theres a balloon in my stomach and i have to sit up to burp

has anyone else had an endoscopy before?did u suffer wind after?how did u deal with it?

and yes beautiful women like me do burp too

I've had a few endoscopies including one time having to keep the tube down my nose for a few days at home.

Can you take a gas / bloating medication?

How about doing the cat-cow pose (yoga) ?

Did they puff you up before inserting the endoscope?

yes they did

i do have medication things to relieve bloating but its no point if im already releasing air
i only take that if I can't burp

yes they did

I think it's normal that it takes awhile to deflate after they inflate you.

ifeel better now but i had to take a couple days off work because I was tired and had a sore stomach but also i couldnt have gone to work burping like that because i deal with the public and i cant always control how loud i burp i dont burp really loud but loud enough for other people to hear and it can be quite embarassing

I hardly burp, but when I do it sounds like a small gulping sound and makes me jump, and leaves a mild taste in my mouth of vomit (but only mild and for a couple of seconds). I find it such a gross sensation, I never know how people manage to do that several times every day, much louder too. :eew:

I didn't have that problem after my endoscopy. I don't remember burping at all, and I don't remember the doctor warning me that I might burp.
