I have issues with nts because they're trying to make me the same as them stresses me out, but they don't understand, no one understands

not being nasty towards them but I need to speak

I can't physically process please all the social interaction they needed

it makes me unhappy trying to be neutotypical

my brain hurts and I have a low social drive

when can we be accepted for our selves please

I can just be my weird self

but they want normal.....its hard

I have my tickle

a bit of silky material I rub

they have their social norms

one lady here rubs silky material too

not come across anyone else

I will seek my silky material wherever it goes....including up the hoover if it sucks it up

I don't care about being loved or popular

I like being alone sometimes so being popular would be a nightmare

cant cope can't stand the pressure to socialise in a general sense

only like to socialise with peoples I'm familiar with and like

they can be lovely

I feel your pain E_A.
This time of year particularly I find ridiculously painful. It feels like everyone wants a piece of me. I feel pulled in too many directions.

I hate this too. I like making people laugh, but then that's all they want from you. They think you are their little performer. Mostly I'm just trying to keep people at a distance in a polite way, but this is always misunderstood.

Yeah, f*** holidays. I hated them as a kid and hate them now. Except for the days off. Everyone wants you to be loud, festive, and obnoxious, while you try coping with the routine change and (at least to me) horrendous music. And if you have to go to a store, they're extra crowded. Wish I could take off from Thanksgiving through New Year's.
