It's wonderful and I just discovered it by pure accident today.

I got my daughter some bubbles just as a stocking filler and for a bit of childlike fun.

We've both been sat here for about 30 minutes playing with them and I suddenly realised how calm I felt.

Apparently they do use them as a technique because they help you to focus on your breathing and then you can watch the lovely bubbles floating to the ground and then they pop. It's all in slow motion and pretty.

Such a simple, cheap, accessible and fun thing to do.

I always found it hillarious to blow bubbles in a place where people pass but one can hide out of view and watch people look for where they are coming from.

My boyfriend bought me bubbles and a wand for my birthday last year. Great minds think alike!

I also had "blowing" homework from my OT at the time, so it was funny but fitting.
