What was your first situation when you met Asperger?

Do you mean: When were you first diagnosed?

How did you find yourself this morning?

Well I just rolled back the sheets and there I was.

I don't think I've ever met Asperger. I think he died before I was born.

Yep. He passed away in 1980.

I think English may not be her first language, and it seems she's asking when did you first meet someone with Asperger's.

I first heard the term while working in a bookstore, due to a parent looking for information. The first person I met like that? I'm not sure. That could be about 9 years ago, through work. Probably before then, except I knew nothing about autism/Asperger's.

I know she was, I was just joking.

I thought she was asking what it was like the first time we knew about Asperger's or knew we had Asperger's, which my answer would be "very very angry and ashamed".
