My Dropbox documents are showing the wrong date

I hope it's okay to ask a technical question?

I've got two documents I've worked on A LOT recently and when I uploaded them to Dropbox, they showed their last saved dates as 1984 and 1985.

Why is that? Are the documents corrupted? Should I make another copy of each one? Please help.
