I wash it JUST before I go out.

Whatever you see is the fact that
'tis sopping wet with sweat, and
heavily caked with salt.

I'm not sure what exactly it IS caked with, but I have some nasty theories, the most benign being dandruff mixed with blood and water.

Could be hair oil. I think the facial hair would look better either all shaved off or alternatively, grown longer. Are these very recent pictures? You don't look 40.

Not oil. I don't use the stuff, and my hair's clean
before I go.

I'm in the midst of growing my beard for the winter.

And no, seems I don't manage to look my age.
Worse without the facial hair. To the point of
getting proofed.

Fecal matter, olive oil, and some ambergris for seasoning?

Ah! Some oil indeed. But not enough to show.
I usually anoint with sandalwood
(on that night patchouli).

What about Old Spice? You can drink it if you want as well. Just don't expect to retain any brain cells afterwards.
