Then what is needed is for businesses to get rid of all their complainers/whiners, gossips, nepo-hires, paper-pushers, parasites, quota-hires, shirkers/slackers, suck-ups, temperamental types, and other deadweight.

For some places, it's not about the jobs being meaningful. The owners or bosses feel more important the more people they have working for them, so they try and maximize that, regardless of whether there's actually a need for that at all.
