Yes, actually, this is the thing.

Not sure how this seems to have gotten lost in translation recently.

People can’t be sold a different sexual orientation or gender identity than the one they were inherently born with.

If you’re a cis gendered heterosexual, is learning about the existence of transgendered or lgb people going to change that? (No. Obvi.) So it’s super weird to protest against Pride events that are there to support queer people’s existence with claims that sexual orientations are being marketed & sold to people as choices.

On the subject of pride, I can confirm that browsing through Wrongplanet's politics sub-forum and seeing threads like this is enough to make me abandon any sense of 'autistic pride' I've ever had.

This is the same troll that posted in the candace owens thread suggesting her transphobic bigotry is common sense.

I suppose it’s par for the course that they would consider autistic pride as having something to do with dead queer kids.
