My voice- sounds bad?

I've never liked my voice. I think other people say it's OK out of politeness. It's a silly, stupid voice.

I'd say you sound rather well-spoken. Certainly neither silly nor stupid.

As a child and teenager I went to prep and public school. That was what happened to sons and daughters of diplomats. Boys around 8 years old. Girls at 11. Since becoming severely mentally ill I have experienced 'social drift'. I used to sound a lot posher when younger.Somehow have kept my left of centre middle class political views.

If is some kind of social strata issue then thats something else.

You dont sound like an strong opposite of "posh". You sound maybe in between but more like Henry Higgins than you sound like Liza Doolittle...if class dialect is what you're worried about.
