Special interest is Seinfeld. Does anyone want to talk about it?

A relative use to love to watch this show. I never got into it. From the little I did see It was pretty funny though.

Great in the beginning but the show went WAY downhill once Larry David left. And let's not even discuss the finale.

I used to watch it on my video player wrist watch at work. I thought they wouldn't notice. I was wrong

I think, for its time, it was the funniest show on TV.

I saw a commercial yesterday where the actors were saying "yada yada yada." I have no idea what the commercial was for. All I could think was "Do younger people know that's from Seinfeld?"
The fact I cannot recall what the commercial was for suggests going for a laugh, relying on an older television show, was probably not the best thing. I'm told "yada yada yada" existed before Seinfeld, but Seinfeld was the first place I ever heard it.

Seinfeld is one of my favorite shows. When I originally watched the series finale, everyone kept referring to Jerry, Elaine, Kramer, and George as terrible people. I did not get it. But watching episodes again, I can see where they were sometime quite terrible, even though it was pretty funny.

Yeah, I think their terrible people shenanigans set up modern sitcoms likes It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Good Place. I appreciate Seinfeld because of its influence on modern culture, and also, it's critique of social structures.
"The fabric of society is very complex, George."
