Does anyone else feel like their youth passed them by?
I think a crisis, a reevaluation, is good every now and then. I suppose it's a bit like how if you're an artist then you might look back on your old art and think 'Wow. This is terrible. What was I thinking when I made this disaster?'
You just see the flaws, the mistakes, what you'd do differently because you have perspective. On the plus side, it shows growth. Frankly I don't trust anyone with no regrets. That's highly suspect.
I have a bit of disconnect with my youth. It somewhat doesn't really feel like my life at times, more akin to looking at the memories of someone else.
However, I will say that I feel like I'm wasting my current days. Doesn't help that my friend warned me recently that if I stay on the path I'm on then maybe I'll end up like his deadbeat uncle. Those words have been haunting me. Frankly I'm worried he might be right.
