I've read the article. It's a very good article. African countries have a lot of catching up as far as autism awareness and acceptance are concerned. They also have some catching up to do when it comes to mental health as well. It saddens me to think that members of her family blamed her son's autism on witchcraft instead of giving her and her son the support that they need. In Africa, is a disabled family member dies a huge party with lots of food and drinks is held. I find that a little mixed up. I hope that her and her son get the support that they need and the rest of her family won't be blaming her son's autism on witchcraft anymore.
