Question about links in signature

Hi there!

I have a question: are you allowed to post a link to your website on your signature? or will that be viewed as a spam. I'm asking here because I got mixed responses the first time I asked. I want to know for certain, preferably from the site admin or moderator if possible.

This is your blog you have in your WWW button right? That would be somewhat redundant. I don't think links are forbidden, as long as they are not to sites of an adult or inflammatory nature. However, pictures and scripts are forbidden.
