Henlo, Dolly! Welcome to the Wrong Planet. Good luck with your transition to adulthood! I hope you are able to find coping mechanisms, and some pals.

I've been an adult for a few years now, and I'm still having some troubles with adulthood! I suppose that's just the nature of having autism while living in late-stage capitalism. I'll see you around the forum! Feel free to ask any questions you might have about autism and adulthood. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

Welcome to Wrong Planet! Transitioning into adulthood is hard but being on this site has definitely helped me with it!

Well...I'm not exactly like you. I'm Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1 (Mild) but I did not find that out until I was 64. Before that I was just odd.

But my recommendation would be, if you can, downplay your Autism (maybe don't even mention it, if not necessary). Muddle through life as much as you can without displaying the label.

But, YOU know you've got the label, so research coping techniques you can use discretely.
