A lot of people interpret extremist GOP bills that are bound to fail on their initial run as "pandering to the base", but I think we shouldn't write them off that easily. We must instead be prepared for these ideas popping up again later. D:


And they almost certainly become law due to the GOP having supermajorities in those states.

The only freedoms they care about is (a) the right to have a huge arsenal of assault rifles, and (b) the right to cyberbully LGBTQ+ people online.

(To me, quoting Leviticus 18:20-22, or telling them they will go to hell is considered bullying. If the MAGAs are denied that opportunity on any platform, they'll see it as "proof" of "Christian persecution").
